The Johnston County Fraternal Order of Police - Lodge 88 is conducting a telephone fundraiser which began on  Monday - August 21, 2006.  The program is being facilitated  with the assistance of Area Benefits, Inc of Georgia who specialize in fundraising activity for Fraternal Order of Police lodges across the East coast. 

 

A local office has been setup at 316 East Horne Street in Clayton near the Clayton Police Department.  This office space was generously donated for use by Herman and Sue Micthiner, owners of  Time Out Fitness Center in Clayton.

 

Contributions will be used to support our endeavor to assist families of police officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in giving their life protecting society.  This assistance will include the purchase of headstones.  A permanent Johnston County Peace Officer's Memorial is long term goal we plan to fulfill.  Donations will also be used for food baskets for needy families during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays.
