The
Johnston County Fraternal Order of Police - Lodge 88 is
conducting a telephone fundraiser. The program is
being facilitated with the assistance of Area Benefits, Inc of
Georgia who specialize in fundraising activity for Fraternal Order
of Police lodges across the East coast.

Contributions will be used to support our endeavor to
protect children through FINGERPRINT AMERICA dna
and child identification kits. These kits
combine fingerprinting and Whatman FTA DNA
Technology. DNA Technology is patented and widely
used in crime labs and through state law enforcement
applications nationally. Historically, successful
storage and recovery of DNA required test tubes,
hazardous buffers, ultra-low freezers and storage
media. DNA can be stored at room temperature for
years and remain stable for analysis.
Lodge 88 will make these kits available to Johnston
County residents throughout the summer.
Funds
will also be utilized to purchase much needed
FOOD BASKETS during the Holidays.
