New Year's Eve Events
Tir Na Nog -
Raleigh, North Carolina
Thanks to everyone who came out to play a few
tunes at Tir Na Nog Irish Pub in Raleigh on New Year's Eve.
The band played at 7:00 pm to sound in Ireland's new year and played
a few more sets leading up to 2007. Special kudos to our drum
section led by Cameron Jetton and a pulse set on the bass by
Lloyd Johnson (yes - a piper played the bass drum).
Some photos from the party can be seen

1st Annual Tartan Ball
Raleigh, North Carolina
Thank you to EVERYONE who came
out to support the band on November 18th. Building a pipe band takes
the hard work of band members and the support of our
family and friends. Over $3400 was raised at our first
annual tartan ball. This will help us outfit and equip the
band so we can continue our mission; to
honor our fallen
and
strengthen relations between the protective services and the public
- preserving cultural heritage by providing traditional Bagpipe and
Drum music.
Special thanks to Baile Daire (BAL-iah
DAR-rah) for presenting a mixture of Irish and other folk
music, the Inis Cairde School
of Irish Dance
for cultivating a love of traditional Irish dancing and our three
Scottish Dancers who thrilled the party guests with stories of
traditional Scottish dance.

North Carolina State Fair
North Carolina Fallen Firefighters Foundation
Several kilted and playing members
of the band journeyed to the North Carolina State Fair to help out
the North Carolina Fallen Fire Fighters Foundation raise money to

not have been made easier without the help of Wake EMS's finest.
